The heavens declare the glory of God;
the firmament proclaims the works of his hands.

In today’s world, we might be told that faith & science are 2 great enemies. That’s false. The Church has always promoted science as a great tool of knowledge & helping humanity.
Anthony Flew (1923 – 2010) who used to be a famous atheist, turn into a believer specifically because science wasn’t advanced enough in order to prove God’s existence by cosmology at this time. Near the end of his life, he decided to make his final decision: God does exist, thanks to science, and he even wrote an entire book out of it. The kalam cosmological argument, fine-tuning of the universe, DNA started to get popularize, showing us that there’s in fact, there’s a designer behind the universe.
With the recent discovery of anti-matter, some believe it will leave God out of the equation. But, we still have 2 problems: how did that come from, and how was it set up in a way that it will react in a certain way? Mystery…

God created the universe in order to be able to become a human being and pour out his love upon us and to invite us to love him in return.

Fine-tuning of the universe
When I was in college, I used to learn how to write codes to create websites, apps & games. It was so fascinating, but at the same time very frustrating. It’s black or white.
The more I learn about science, the more I am amazed at God.
I mean, it’s like looking at a movie, and watching the “behind-the-scene” video, you see artistic & technical genius behind a piece of art.
Ever since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes of eternal power and divinity have been able to be understood and perceived in what he has made.

1) Everything that begins to exist has a cause.
We see this pattern in nature everywhere.
2) The universe begins to exists.
We do know that our universe begins to exists through the Big Bang.
We know that from 5 scientific evidences:
1) 2nd law of thermodynamics
2) expansion of the universe
3) radiation afterglow from the Big Bang explosion
4) great galaxy seeds in the radiation afterglow
5) Einstein’s theory of general relativity
According to the 2nd law of thermodynamic, if the universe was eternal, it would run out of energy for a while.
Einstein’s theory of general relativity states that time, space & matters has to come simultaneity for the universe to begin. What we do read in Genesis 1:1 is this: “In the beginning (time), God created heaven (space) and the earth (matter)”. This shows us that God has to be outside of time, space & matter.
Atheists had tried to refute this with the new theory of multiverse. But again, we don’t have evidences of it, it’s still a theory. Even if it’s true, we still have questions: how did that begins, how was it set up? God isn’t limited, and can possibly create as much universe as He wishes.
3) Therefore the universe has a cause.
…
Now the cause of the beginning of the universe has to be outside of the boundaries: timeless, space less, immaterial, powerful, intelligent & personal. Such as God.
Who created God?
It’s fair to ask this question & here’s my answer:
The kalam cosmological argument states that whatever BEGINS to exists has a cause, not everything that exists has a cause.
1) The question itself doesn’t prevent God from creating the universe
2) God is eternal
3) If God did created the universe, and he is eternal, then it becomes a circular reasoning
Intelligent design
There’s 2 things in nature I can deduce a conclusion based on the complexity of a design: natural design & intelligent design. The more complex & intentional a design is, the less probable that is happens by chance.
A computer is created by an intelligent mind (human being). Chances that pieces of metal collides each other naturally though time to give us something as complex as a computer is nearly impossible (or it’s literally a miracle!). Whenever I’m using a mobile app, I know that there’s a creator behind it, or at least an AI (artificial intelligence) made by another creator. Someone wrote the code (even for the AI), by setting laws, constraints, functions, variables, etc… in order to give a fully functional & interactive device for users.
